Role-play a real OPD consultation: take the history, examine, order tests and reach a diagnosis — then get an examiner's assessment of what you did right and what you missed.

01A session

Watch it work.

  1. 1

Pick any of the 190 NCISM clinical cases (Kāyacikitsā, Pañcakarma, Śalya, Śālākya, Prasūti–Strīroga, Kaumārabhṛtya) or 129 more from the disease library — or take a random patient whose diagnosis you do not know.

  2. 2

Interview the patient in your own words, run Aṣṭavidha parīkṣā and other examinations, order investigations, and ask the supervisor for a hint if you are stuck.

  3. 3

Submit your diagnosis, samprāpti and plan to get a scored assessment: the real diagnosis beside yours, a step-by-step table of what you did and what should have been done, missed questions, and the model management.

02What sets it apart

All 190 NCISM cases

Every clinical case the Third Professional curriculum prescribes — Kāyacikitsā, Pañcakarma, Śalya, Śālākya, Prasūti–Strīroga and Kaumārabhṛtya — plus 129 more by body system.

Examine like a clinician

Aṣṭavidha and Daśavidha parīkṣā, and the specialty examinations each case needs — obstetric, ENT, eye, neonatal, trauma, Pañcakarma fitness.

Random patients

Take a patient whose diagnosis you don't know — just like the OPD. Pick a subject or leave it to chance.

An examiner's debrief

Your diagnosis beside the real one, a what-you-did vs what-was-needed table, missed questions, and the ten-point NCISM case-record checklist.

You bring

  • 01A condition to practise, or a random patient
  • 02Your questions, examinations and investigations, in your own words
  • 03Your final diagnosis, reasoning and management plan

You get

  • 01A realistic patient who answers only what you ask
  • 02Examination findings and investigation reports on request
  • 03An examiner's assessment: score by area, a what-you-did vs what-was-needed table, missed questions, differentials and the ideal plan

03The standard

“Cases and assessments follow the classical nidāna and cikitsā literature and the standard formularies; the model management cites the library passages it rests on.”

Good to know

A training simulation: patients are generated textbook constructs, never real people, and nothing here is diagnosis or treatment advice. A consultation is capped at 40 exchanges; judgement calls that admit more than one defensible reading deserve faculty discussion.

Questions about Clinic Simulator.

Is the same case the same every time?

No. Each patient is written fresh — a different person, history and set of findings — so you can practise one condition many times.

Does it cover emergencies and procedures?

Yes. Emergency cases (PPH, head injury, neonatal distress) expect you to recognise urgency and refer; Pañcakarma cases ask you to judge eligibility and plan pūrva, pradhāna and paścāt karma.
